TankFinders prices are extremely competitive.  We want your business and so we offer prompt, professional service and we treat you fairly.  

Below is our price list.  Please keep in mind that each tank job is unique and as such, a Free Estimate for any work will be provided after the tank is identified.    

  • Tank scan:  $150/scan for North Van, West Van, Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, New Westminster.  A surcharge may apply for other areas in Lower Mainland.

Our Free Estimates are based on the following pricing:

  • Permits: charged at cost.  In West Vancouver, tank permits can be as much as $315 for example.  In other municipalities, they are often less expensive.  You can find up to date permit information on your local district or municipality website.
  • Tank excavation and environmental disposal: usually ranges from $1000-$1500 and depends on the logistics of where the tank is located, size, depth to top, backfill and resurfacing requirements.
  • Environmental Certification: $1500.  All work is supervised under a Professional Engineer and Certified by a Professional Engineering (P. Eng.) report.  All work and reports meet or exceed Municipal and Provincial Ministry of Environment (BC MOE) requirements.  We are the only tank removal firm with environmental professionals on staff full time.
  • Tank Pumping: there is usually a call out fee for the pumping equipment, then a per litre charge for the material pumped out.
  • Remediation/Contaminated Soil Removal:  TankFinders offers the lowest remediation pricing in the industry hands-down.  No one can beat our prices. Remediation quotes are provided once it is determined that remediation is required.  The cost usually ranges from about $2000 to $3500 for the first 10 tonnes of soil removed, depending on the complexity of the job.  Additional loads would be charged out on a per tonne basis.  On an average, residential soil remediation projects are below $10,000.
